Being in this business — as an actor, producer, casting director — takes nerve and endless hard work. I learned that when sending out inquiries, I couldn’t make it all about me, me, me. You have to remember you’re always working for someone else.” — Paisley Baker Featured in the North Texan

Soon after, Paisley worked as production secretary for Scout Productions, 51 Minds, and Eric Eisner and Julian Metter’s animated feature “Booty Call,” which gained her experience in both the reality and animation genres.
Her early work also includes film and commercials, coordinating Director Wondwossen Dikran’s short film “Concrete Jungle,” and commercial shoots for merit/Andrew in Newport, as well as casting the short film “French Kiss,” and the TV pilot “Snakes of Justice.”
Paisley has experience working with Line Producers, Executive Producers, Talent and other Casting Directors in both the scripted and unscripted genres, but her extensive period of growth came while casting reality-based, non-scripted television.
She is the former Executive in Charge of Doron Ofir Casting and Popular Productions Inc. where she had administrative oversight of the daily operations of the busy casting and development company as it exploded in popularity, and expanded to become the premier casting company it is today.
While with Doron Ofir Casting, Paisley was instrumental in delivering cast for Ru Paul’s “Drag Race,” “Jersey Shore,” “Millionaire Matchmaker,” “Design Star,” “Nashville Star,” “A Shot At Love” with Tila Tequila, “Tool Academy,” “Workout,” “Sunset Tan,” and many more. Paisley exited her position with Doron Ofir Casting in early 2011 to return to her early roots in production and development.
After successfully managing talent and projects through the development process while continuing to cast both scripted and non-scripted projects, Paisley Baker launched her own company, Coat Check Creative, in 2012.
